A wide variety of  effective treatments are available for most communication or swallowing disorders.  Our clinic serves all ages of clients, from newborns with swallowing or potential developmental problems, such as Down Syndrome to adults with  head injuries, stroke or other neurological conditions.  If transportation or other circumstances make it difficult for you to reach our clinic, ask for information about our treatment at home options.

    Some of our clients are involved in treatment programs in the school districts.  These clients are seeking additional services to maximize progress or to receive expertise that may not be available in their particular school.  Coordination with school therapists can help maintain consistency of treatment and provide a level of progress that would not otherwise be possible.  If your child is currently receiving treatment from a therapist or special education program, ask for a copy of their IEP or IFSP before coming in for an evaluation.

    We work with some home health agencies in and around  Salt Lake, Weber and Utah counties.  If your home health agency does not provide the speech, language, dysphagia or augmentative services that you need, please give us a call.
