In addition to managing our Spanish speaking clients and their families, Maria uses her 14 years of experience in neurological diseases, stroke and traumatic brain injury to treat both adults and children.  Maria is an integral part of our residential and outpatient programs for stutterers.  She also treats swallowing disorders, with 10 years of experience in this disorder mostly at the University of Utah Medical Center.  As adjunct faculty in the Department of Communication Disorders at the University of Utah, Maria participates in student supervision.
